Can you guarantee dolphin sightings?
Dolphins are wild animals living freely in the Adriatic Sea, so sightings can never be guaranteed. However, our experienced captain follows their natural movement and recent sightings around the Brijuni National Park to maximize your chances of seeing them. We always observe dolphins responsibly and from a respectful distance, allowing them to behave naturally in their own habitat.
Why is Brijuni National Park one of the best places for dolphin watching?
The waters around Brijuni National Park are rich in fish and protected marine habitats, making them a natural feeding area for bottlenose dolphins. While sightings can never be guaranteed, this region offers some of the best opportunities to observe dolphins in the wild near Pula. However, when the dolphins follow schools of fish farther north, a larger, stable boat with powerful engines can comfortably reach these more distant areas, allowing us to safely explore a wider search area.
How long is the cruise?
Our Sunset Dolphin Watching Cruise in Pula lasts for 3 hours. Departure times vary throughout the season to match the sunset, ensuring the best possible dolphin watching and sunset experience.
Is dinner included?
Yes. A freshly prepared Mediterranean dinner is included in your ticket. When making your reservation, you can choose from three menu options: grilled mackerel, traditional Croatian pljeskavica (grilled beef patty), or a vegetarian meal with plant-based meat and grilled vegetables. All meals are served with fresh cabbage salad and bread.

The meeting point is located in the historic Port of Pula, just a short walk from the Roman Amphitheater and the city centre, making it easy to combine your cruise with sightseeing before departure. The boat Ariete is docked at Pula Harbour (across Tito’s park). We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before departure to allow enough time for check-in and boarding.
