Boat trip to Rovinj – Lim Fjord – Red Island, with Orion Travel. We are sailing from Pula harbour while enjoying panoramic views of Romain amphitheatre and the city of Pula from the seaside. Pula harbour is known as a strategic harbour of Austro-Hungarian navy, and due to its shape and naturally protected bay it counts as one of the best natural harbours on the Adriatic. Moreover, on this tour we visit three most popular places in Istria in just one day. Our first stop is picturesque town of Rovinj, known as Croatia’s “Little Venice”, a must see while visiting Istrian peninsula.

On our way to medieval Rovinj, we sail near Brijuni Archipelago through Fažana channel. We might be lucky and spot some dolphins on this boat tour. While approaching Rovinj we admire views of its waterfront that resembles Venice. A local guide waits us in the main port and takes us through the old town of Rovinj. After the town visit, we sail further north and enjoy the Mediterranean lunch onboard while absorbing the views and the calmness of Lim bay, or popularly called Lim Fjord. The Lim bay was named “Fjord” due to the Vikings’ movie that was filmed there in year 1964.
Swimming at Red Island – Most beautiful beach in Istria
Also, we pay an exclusive visit to Red Island or Sveti Andrija near Rovinj, one of the top beaches in Istria. It is a mixture of both, modern new and untouched beauty. It’s a perfect island to enjoy, either summer groove, or to relax in the quietness of its hidden bays. The crystal-clear sea and numerous amenities on the islands will give you a memorable experience. We are the only boat tour company that sails from Pula to Red Island exclusively.
